This rubber sheet roll is supplied in Butyl 60 durometer built to a thickness of 1/16 inch and a width of 36 inch, catalogued under part number 0728062X36. It provides a versatile stock material for fabrication and maintenance.
The compound resists phosphate esters, gas permeation, and vegetable oils. Butyl delivers very good weathering and ozone resistance, excellent vibration damping and energy absorption. Exposure to chlorinated solvents or petroleum oils and fuels will shorten service life.
It sees regular use in chemical processing, vacuum systems, and damping and isolation.
0728062X36 ships by the linear yard. Confirm chemical compatibility, pressure and temperature against your own application requirements before installing.
