PTFE (Teflon®)-Encapsulated Silicone is valued for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient and durable silicone core, creating a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. The compound resists wide temperature swings, strong acids and solvents, and steam. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).
