Fluoroelastomer (Viton®/FKM) O-Rings

FKM O-Rings are fluoroelastomer seals used to seal against heat, oils, fuels, and harsh chemicals. The harder 75 and 90 durometer compounds add strength and better extrusion resistance, so they hold up in pumps, valves, compressors, heat exchangers, hydraulic systems, and processing gear for chemicals. These FKM O-Rings handle static and moderate dynamic environments. In a well cut static groove, they seal up to about 1,500 psi without backup rings. For higher pressure or moving parts, add backup rings to stop extrusion of the O-Rings. Get the groove and gland sized right and these last through heat cycling.
