Rubber Sponge, Medium Density is specified here for inherent flame-retarding characteristics and dependable general-purpose sealing in exposed installations. It resists sunlight and salt spray, refrigerants and ammonia, and mild acids. Exposure to chlorinated solvents or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.
