0880B0250 is a brown Pressboard Class 300/600 ring face Flange Gasket built to a 2.5 inch nominal pipe size, a Class 300/600 pressure rating, and a thickness of 0.125 inch. In service, this flange gasket seals a bolted flange connection across the full pressure rating of the class.

Pressboard is specified here for low-cost protection for machined flange faces during shipping and storage, rigid construction that resists handling damage. Expect good resistance to handling damage, dust and debris ingress. It is not the right choice where pressure sealing service or wet or chemical exposure are present.

It sees regular use in shipping and storage, construction and turnaround projects, and flange face protection.
