As a material, BLUE-GARD® 3000 delivers clean, easy removal without flange damage and an aramid fiber structure bound with nitrile elastomer. This material stands up to steam and water, hydrocarbons and mild chemicals, and elevated flange loads. It should not be specified for service in service beyond published limits or strong oxidizing acids.
