3E15CBR is a Tough-Tite Brass Part C Female Coupler x Hose Shank Cam and Groove Coupling supplied with a 1-1/2 inch nominal size. In service, this cam and groove coupling terminates a hose with a female coupler end. The catalog record notes: Female Coupler X Hose Shank.

As a material, Brass is specified for excellent machinability yielding tight, clean threads and non-sparking characteristics valued in some environments. Expect good resistance to corrosion in water service, atmospheric exposure, and moderate pressure. It should not be specified for service in ammonia and amine compounds or strong acids.
