1-1/4" DUST CAP BRASS TOUGH-TITE

3E12DCBR is a Tough-Tite Brass Dust Cap Cam and Groove Coupling built to a 1-1/4 inch nominal size. In service, this cam and groove coupling closes off a female coupler to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

The compound resists corrosion in water service, atmospheric exposure, and moderate pressure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Brass is specified for good strength with dependable sealing at threaded joints and an attractive, durable finish. It is not the right choice where strong acids or ammonia and amine compounds are present.

Typical settings include plumbing and process piping, petroleum transfer, and water and irrigation.
