Ordered as 3E12ABR, this is a Tough-Tite Brass Part A Male Adapter x Female NPT Cam and Groove Coupling supplied with a 1-1/4 inch nominal size. The material holds up against moderate pressure, atmospheric exposure, and corrosion in water service. Brass delivers excellent machinability yielding tight, clean threads, good corrosion resistance in water and mild chemical service. It is not the right choice where strong acids or ammonia and amine compounds are present.
