This flange gasket is supplied in green Klingersil C-4401 Class 300 ring face built to a 3.5 inch nominal pipe size, a Class 300 pressure rating, and a thickness of 0.062 inch, catalogued under part number 13850RF062B0350. As a material, Klingersil C-4401 is valued for excellent torque retention and low creep relaxation, a calendered, compressed fiber structure bound with elastomer. Expect good resistance to a broad range of process chemicals, elevated flange loads, and steam and hot water. It should not be specified for service in service beyond the published pressure-temperature envelope or strong oxidizing acids in some grades.
