1" DUST CAP BRASS TOUGH-TITE

APG stocks the 3E10DCBR, a Tough-Tite Brass Dust Cap Cam and Groove Coupling built to a 1 inch nominal size. A cam and groove coupling closes off a female coupler to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

The material holds up against moderate pressure, atmospheric exposure, and corrosion in water service. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Brass is specified for good corrosion resistance in water and mild chemical service, an attractive, durable finish. It is not the right choice where strong acids or dezincification in aggressive water are present.

Typical settings include petroleum transfer, water and irrigation, and general industrial.
