The compound resists fire exposure, steam, and thermal shock. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Graphite Filament delivers no aging, hardening or embrittlement over time and near-zero creep relaxation under load. It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids or highly oxidizing service above rated temperature are present.

It sees regular use in steam and heat transfer systems, refining, and exhaust and flue gas.
