11780500-10 is an Aramid Filament Compression Packing with a 1/2 inch square cross section. In service, this compression packing seals the shaft while allowing controlled leakage that lubricates and cools the packing set. Source specification: 10 LB. Box - Approx. 62 FT.

Aramid Filament is specified here for dependable service life when correctly adjusted and braided construction that conforms to the stuffing box. Expect good resistance to process media, elevated temperature and pressure, and shaft wear. Rated for service to approximately 500°F.
