PTFE Impregnated Flax is valued for one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. The compound resists solvents, nearly all industrial chemicals, and strong acids and bases. It is not the right choice where molten alkali metals or service requiring elastic recovery are present.
