This compression packing is supplied in TFE Impregnated Non-Asbestos measuring a 1/2 inch square cross section, catalogued under part number 11730500-05. TFE Impregnated Non-Asbestos delivers a very wide continuous service temperature range and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. The material holds up against solvents, nearly all industrial chemicals, and strong acids and bases. Exposure to service requiring elastic recovery or elemental fluorine at temperature will shorten service life.
