Ordered as 11750500-05, this is a Graphite Filament Packing Compression Packing measuring a 1/2 inch square cross section. The compression packing offers the most economical repairable shaft seal for pumps and valves. Source specification: 5 LB. Box - Approx. 39 FT.

As a material, Graphite Filament Packing offers no aging, hardening or embrittlement over time, excellent thermal conductivity and fire resistance. It resists fire exposure, very high temperature, and thermal shock. It should not be specified for service in highly oxidizing service above rated temperature or strong oxidizing acids.

Typical settings include power generation, steam and heat transfer systems, and refining.
