Ordered as 0Q283139, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring Cord Stock measuring a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm). The quad-ring cord stock supplies profiled extrusion for grooves a round cord cannot fill.

It resists chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or amines. The profile itself contributes two sealing bands per contact face rather than one and lower compressive load required to achieve a seal.
