#8 NON-ASBESTOS GAUGE GLASS 1/16 GASK

139408 is a Gauge Glass Accessory. In service, this gauge glass accessory provides the replaceable components that keep a gauge glass assembly leak-tight.

It resists thermal shock, chemical attack from water and steam, and internal pressure. Borosilicate gauge glass is valued for annealed for consistent strength and borosilicate construction for thermal shock resistance. It should not be specified for service in mechanical impact or service beyond the rated pressure and temperature.

Typical settings include boilers and steam drums, process tanks and vessels, and water treatment.
