Crinkled Graphite Ta is specified here for excellent thermal conductivity and fire resistance, exceptional temperature capability well beyond elastomeric materials. The compound resists most chemicals across the pH range, very high temperature, and fire exposure. Exposure to strong oxidizing acids or highly oxidizing service above rated temperature will shorten service life.
