1/4" PTFE NON-ASBESTOS PACKING

Ordered as 11730250-05, this is a TFE Impregnated Non-Asbestos Compression Packing supplied with a 1/4 inch square cross section. The compression packing provides field-serviceable shaft sealing that can be adjusted and topped up without disassembling the pump. Source specification: 5 LB. Box - Approx. 120 FT.

This material stands up to nearly all industrial chemicals, steam, and oxidizing media. TFE Impregnated Non-Asbestos is known for a very wide continuous service temperature range and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. It should not be specified for service in molten alkali metals or elemental fluorine at temperature.

Typical settings include food and beverage, pharmaceutical and biotech, and chemical processing.
