The 11700125-01 is a Lubricated PTFE Filament Compression Packing with a 1/8 inch square cross section. This compression packing offers the most economical repairable shaft seal for pumps and valves. Source specification: 1 LB. Box - Approx. 72 FT.

Expect good resistance to strong acids and bases, nearly all industrial chemicals, and oxidizing media. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Lubricated PTFE Filament offers non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. Exposure to service requiring elastic recovery or molten alkali metals will shorten service life.
