The 11690125-05 is a PTFE Filament Impregnated Compression Packing built to a 1/8 inch square cross section. This compression packing offers the most economical repairable shaft seal for pumps and valves. Source specification: 5 LB. Box - Approx. 357 FT.

This material stands up to steam, nearly all industrial chemicals, and oxidizing media. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE Filament Impregnated is known for one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid and near-universal chemical inertness. It is not the right choice where service requiring elastic recovery or elemental fluorine at temperature are present.

It sees regular use in semiconductor fabrication, food and beverage, and laboratory equipment.
