310FRLASS is an Ever-Tite Stainless Steel Notched Ferrule built to a 1 inch nominal size. In service, this notched ferrule seats over the hose shank and is tightened by band, with the notch pattern distributing the clamping load. It fits hose with an outside diameter of 1-29/64 in to 1-35/64 in. Unlike a crimp sleeve, which is swaged by a crimping machine, this ferrule is tightened with a banding tool.

It resists corrosion and oxidation, chemical attack, and salt water and washdown. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Stainless Steel is valued for a hygienic, cleanable surface suited to sanitary process lines, excellent corrosion resistance in washdown and marine service. It is not the right choice where chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals are present.
