*1 NOTCHED FERRULE 304 S/S

Ordered as 310FRLBSS, this is an Ever-Tite Stainless Steel Notched Ferrule with a 1 inch nominal size. The notched ferrule seats over the hose shank and is tightened by band, with the notch pattern distributing the clamping load. It fits hose with an outside diameter of 1-29/64 in to 1-35/64 in. Unlike a crimp sleeve, which is swaged by a crimping machine, this ferrule is tightened with a banding tool.

Stainless Steel is specified here for dimensional stability under thermal cycling, high mechanical strength and pressure capability. The compound resists high pressure, elevated temperature, and chemical attack. Exposure to galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or chloride stress cracking in some grades will shorten service life.
