Ordered as 310SABR, this is an Ever-Tite Brass Spool Adapter Cam and Groove Coupling built to a 1 inch nominal size and an adjustment range of 1 inch (25.4 mm) to 1 inch (25.4 mm). The cam and groove coupling joins two male adapter ends back to back.

Brass delivers good corrosion resistance in water and mild chemical service, non-sparking characteristics valued in some environments. It resists corrosion in water service, moderate pressure, and atmospheric exposure. Applications involving strong acids or ammonia and amine compounds call for a different compound.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. Common environments for this compound include water and irrigation, plumbing and process piping, and petroleum transfer.
