The 312CRSASS is a Stainless Steel Crimp Sleeve built to a 1-1/4 inch nominal size. This crimp sleeve swages over the hose and fitting to form a permanent assembly. Source specification: OD Range Min 1-39/64 Max 1-15/16.

Stainless Steel is specified here for dimensional stability under thermal cycling and long service life in demanding outdoor environments. It resists chemical attack, salt water and washdown, and corrosion and oxidation. It should not be specified for service in chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals.
