This crimp sleeve is supplied in Ever-Tite Aluminum with a 1-1/2 inch nominal size, catalogued under part number 315CRSCAL. It is machine-crimped onto the hose to produce a one-piece assembly that cannot be loosened in the field. It fits hose with an outside diameter of 2-5/16 in to 2-13/32 in.

Aluminum is specified here for reduced operator fatigue on frequent connection cycles, fast, tool-free make and break in the field. The compound resists many petroleum products, general atmospheric corrosion, and weathering.

Typical settings include tank truck and bulk transfer, general industrial hose service, and petroleum transfer.
