1 1/2 PART B 316 S/S FLANGED COUPLER

Ordered as 315FLBSS, this is an Ever-Tite Stainless Steel Flange Coupling Cam and Groove Coupling with a 1-1/2 inch nominal size. The cam and groove coupling adapts a cam and groove connection to a bolted flange.

Stainless Steel is specified here for high mechanical strength and pressure capability, dimensional stability under thermal cycling. Expect good resistance to salt water and washdown, high pressure, and elevated temperature. It should not be specified for service in galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or chloride stress cracking in some grades.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. It sees regular use in petrochemical, marine and offshore, and pharmaceutical.
