1 1/2 NOTCHED FERRULE 304 S/S

315FRLASS is an Ever-Tite Stainless Steel Notched Ferrule supplied with a 1-1/2 inch nominal size. In service, this notched ferrule seats over the hose shank and is tightened by band, with the notch pattern distributing the clamping load. It fits hose with an outside diameter of 1-15/16 in to 2-3/16 in. Unlike a crimp sleeve, which is swaged by a crimping machine, this ferrule is tightened with a banding tool.

As a material, Stainless Steel is known for a hygienic, cleanable surface suited to sanitary process lines, high mechanical strength and pressure capability. The compound resists elevated temperature, salt water and washdown, and chemical attack. It is not the right choice where galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or chloride stress cracking in some grades are present.

Typical settings include food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical.
