3/16" FDA PTFE YARN PACKING

A compression packing provides field-serviceable shaft sealing that can be adjusted and topped up without disassembling the pump. Source specification: 5 LB. Box - Approx. 193 FT.

Lubricated PTFE Filament is known for near-universal chemical inertness and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. Expect good resistance to oxidizing media, nearly all industrial chemicals, and strong acids and bases. It should not be specified for service in service requiring elastic recovery or molten alkali metals.
