3/16" GFO GRAPHITE/PTFE PACKING

The 11800187-05 is a G.F.O. Packing Compression Packing with a 3/16 inch square cross section. This compression packing provides field-serviceable shaft sealing that can be adjusted and topped up without disassembling the pump. This item is further identified as 5 LB. Box - Approx. 160 FT.

G.F.O. Packing is specified here for controlled leakage that lubricates and cools the shaft, dependable service life when correctly adjusted. The material holds up against shaft wear, elevated temperature and pressure, and process media. Rated for service to approximately 550°F. It is not the right choice where running dry without flush or over-tightening of the gland are present.
