2 NOTCHED FERRULE 304 S/S

APG stocks the 320FRLASS, an Ever-Tite Stainless Steel Notched Ferrule measuring a 2 inch nominal size. A notched ferrule clamps onto the hose using a banding tool rather than a crimping machine, so an assembly can be made without press equipment. It fits hose with an outside diameter of 2-15/32 in to 2-11/16 in. Unlike a crimp sleeve, which is swaged by a crimping machine, this ferrule is tightened with a banding tool.

It resists elevated temperature, salt water and washdown, and chemical attack. Stainless Steel is widely chosen for dimensional stability under thermal cycling, excellent corrosion resistance in washdown and marine service. Applications involving chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals call for a different compound.
