The 325SASS is an Ever-Tite Stainless Steel Spool Adapter Cam and Groove Coupling with a 2-1/2 inch nominal size and an adjustment range of 2.5 inch (63.5 mm) to 2.5 inch (63.5 mm). This cam and groove coupling joins two male adapter ends back to back.

The compound resists salt water and washdown, high pressure, and elevated temperature. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Stainless Steel offers long service life in demanding outdoor environments, high mechanical strength and pressure capability. Applications involving galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or chloride stress cracking in some grades call for a different compound.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. Common environments for this compound include pharmaceutical, marine and offshore, and food and beverage processing.
