3 A X 2 THREAD BRASS

Part number 33020ABR is an Ever-Tite Brass Increaser / Reducer Cam and Groove Coupling supplied with a 3 inch nominal size and an adjustment range of 2 inch to 3 inch. A cam and groove coupling steps a transfer line up or down in size at the coupling.

The compound resists atmospheric exposure, moderate pressure, and corrosion in water service. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Brass is specified for excellent machinability yielding tight, clean threads and good strength with dependable sealing at threaded joints. Applications involving ammonia and amine compounds or dezincification in aggressive water call for a different compound.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across petroleum transfer, general industrial, and plumbing and process piping.
