3 X 2 1/2 PART D THREAD ALUM

Ordered as 33025DAL, this is an Ever-Tite Aluminum Increaser / Reducer Cam and Groove Coupling measuring a 3 inch nominal size and an adjustment range of 2 1/2 inch to 3 inch. The cam and groove coupling steps a transfer line up or down in size at the coupling.

Aluminum is specified here for good corrosion resistance in general industrial service and reduced operator fatigue on frequent connection cycles. It resists general atmospheric corrosion, many petroleum products, and weathering. It is not the right choice where prolonged salt water immersion or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals are present.

This part is produced in accordance with MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326 when anodized. Typical settings include tank truck and bulk transfer, general industrial hose service, and agriculture and irrigation.
