Ordered as 33040ABR, this is an Ever-Tite Brass Increaser / Reducer Cam and Groove Coupling built to a 3 inch nominal size and an adjustment range of 3 inch to 4 inch. The cam and groove coupling steps a transfer line up or down in size at the coupling.

Brass is specified for good strength with dependable sealing at threaded joints and excellent machinability yielding tight, clean threads. This material stands up to moderate pressure, corrosion in water service, and atmospheric exposure.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. It sees regular use in general industrial, water and irrigation, and plumbing and process piping.
