3 NOTCHED FERRULE 304 S/S

Part number 330FRLBSS is an Ever-Tite Stainless Steel Notched Ferrule measuring a 3 inch nominal size. A notched ferrule seats over the hose shank and is tightened by band, with the notch pattern distributing the clamping load. It fits hose with an outside diameter of 3-47/64 in to 3-27/32 in. Unlike a crimp sleeve, which is swaged by a crimping machine, this ferrule is tightened with a banding tool.

Stainless Steel is specified here for excellent corrosion resistance in washdown and marine service, long service life in demanding outdoor environments. The compound resists elevated temperature, chemical attack, and corrosion and oxidation. It should not be specified for service in galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or chloride stress cracking in some grades.
