4 CRIMP SLEEVE ALUMINUM

Ordered as 340CRSAAL, this is an Ever-Tite Aluminum Crimp Sleeve with a 4 inch nominal size. The crimp sleeve is swaged down by a crimping machine over the hose and shank to form a permanent, high-retention assembly. It fits hose with an outside diameter of 4-5/8 in to 4-47/64 in.

The material holds up against general atmospheric corrosion, many petroleum products, and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aluminum delivers fast, tool-free make and break in the field, economical cost per connection. It is not the right choice where prolonged salt water immersion or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals are present.
