*4 CRIMP SLEEVE 304 S/S

This crimp sleeve is supplied in Ever-Tite Stainless Steel with a 4 inch nominal size, catalogued under part number 340CRSBSS. It compresses uniformly under a crimping die, locking the hose onto the coupling shank for good. It fits hose with an outside diameter of 4-3/4 in to 4-7/8 in.

It resists corrosion and oxidation, salt water and washdown, and chemical attack. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Stainless Steel is specified for dimensional stability under thermal cycling, high mechanical strength and pressure capability. It should not be specified for service in galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or chloride stress cracking in some grades.
