*4 NOTCHED FERRULE 304 S/S

This notched ferrule is supplied in Ever-Tite Stainless Steel measuring a 4 inch nominal size, catalogued under part number 340FRLASS. It seats over the hose shank and is tightened by band, with the notch pattern distributing the clamping load. It fits hose with an outside diameter of 4-5/8 in to 4-47/64 in. Unlike a crimp sleeve, which is swaged by a crimping machine, this ferrule is tightened with a banding tool.

As a material, Stainless Steel delivers high mechanical strength and pressure capability, a hygienic, cleanable surface suited to sanitary process lines. Expect good resistance to corrosion and oxidation, salt water and washdown, and elevated temperature.
