*4 FERRULE 304 S/S

The 340FRLBSS is an Ever-Tite Stainless Steel Notched Ferrule measuring a 4 inch nominal size. This notched ferrule clamps onto the hose using a banding tool rather than a crimping machine, so an assembly can be made without press equipment. It fits hose with an outside diameter of 4-3/4 in to 4-7/8 in. Unlike a crimp sleeve, which is swaged by a crimping machine, this ferrule is tightened with a banding tool.

This material stands up to chemical attack, salt water and washdown, and corrosion and oxidation. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Stainless Steel is known for dimensional stability under thermal cycling, high mechanical strength and pressure capability.
