Ordered as 340TTFLPS, this is an Ever-Tite Aluminum Tank Truck Fluted Flange Cam and Groove Coupling built to a 4 inch nominal size. The cam and groove coupling provides the fluted bolted flange face on a tank truck outlet.

Aluminum is specified here for high strength-to-weight ratio that eases handling of large sizes and economical cost per connection. Expect good resistance to many petroleum products, weathering, and general atmospheric corrosion. It should not be specified for service in galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or strong acids and alkalis.
