As a material, Aluminum delivers good corrosion resistance in general industrial service and reduced operator fatigue on frequent connection cycles. This material stands up to many petroleum products, general atmospheric corrosion, and weathering. Exposure to prolonged salt water immersion or strong acids and alkalis will shorten service life.
