36040BABR is an Ever-Tite Brass Coupler / Adapter Cam and Groove Coupling measuring a 6 inch nominal size and an adjustment range of 4 inch (101.6 mm) to 6 inch (152.4 mm). In service, this cam and groove coupling combines a female coupler and male adapter in one body to join two hose runs.

As a material, Brass is valued for good strength with dependable sealing at threaded joints and an attractive, durable finish. The compound resists moderate pressure, atmospheric exposure, and corrosion in water service. It is not the right choice where ammonia and amine compounds or dezincification in aggressive water are present.
