3/8" NON-ASBESTOS ARAMID FIBER PACKING

The 11780375-05 is an Aramid Filament Compression Packing measuring a 3/8 inch square cross section. This compression packing provides field-serviceable shaft sealing that can be adjusted and topped up without disassembling the pump. This item is further identified as 5 LB. Box - Approx. 56 FT.

Aramid Filament is specified here for braided construction that conforms to the stuffing box and dependable service life when correctly adjusted. It resists process media, elevated temperature and pressure, and shaft wear. Rated for service to approximately 500°F. Applications involving over-tightening of the gland or running dry without flush call for a different compound.
