3E15BBAL is a Tough-Tite Aluminum Spool Coupler Cam and Groove Coupling measuring a 1-1/2 inch nominal size and an adjustment range of 1 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inch. In service, this cam and groove coupling joins two female coupler ends back to back.

Aluminum is specified here for good corrosion resistance in general industrial service and reduced operator fatigue on frequent connection cycles. Expect good resistance to many petroleum products, weathering, and general atmospheric corrosion. Applications involving galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or strong acids and alkalis call for a different compound.
