Ordered as 3E4060SASS, this is a Tough-Tite Stainless Steel Spool Adapter Cam and Groove Coupling built to a 4 inch nominal size and an adjustment range of 4 inch (101.6 mm) to 6 inch (152.4 mm). The cam and groove coupling joins two male adapter ends back to back.

Stainless Steel is specified here for dimensional stability under thermal cycling, high mechanical strength and pressure capability. Expect good resistance to salt water and washdown, high pressure, and elevated temperature. It is not the right choice where galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or chloride stress cracking in some grades are present.
