Part number 3E40SASS is a Tough-Tite Stainless Steel Spool Adapter Cam and Groove Coupling with a 4 inch nominal size and an adjustment range of 4 inch (101.6 mm) to 4 inch (101.6 mm). A cam and groove coupling joins two male adapter ends back to back.

Stainless Steel is valued for dimensional stability under thermal cycling and long service life in demanding outdoor environments. The material holds up against high pressure, corrosion and oxidation, and chemical attack. Applications involving chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals call for a different compound.
