Ordered as 3I6740-1, this is a Stainless Steel Worm Drive Hose Clamp built to an adjustment range of 1.125 inch (28.575 mm) to 3 inch (76.2 mm). The worm drive hose clamp provides even clamping force with a band that will not cut into the hose.

The compound resists chemical attack, high pressure, and corrosion and oxidation. Stainless Steel is specified for high mechanical strength and pressure capability, long service life in demanding outdoor environments. Exposure to chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in pharmaceutical, chemical transfer, and marine and offshore.
