Ordered as 3I6836, this is a Stainless Steel Worm Drive Hose Clamp with an adjustment range of 2.75 inch (69.85 mm) to 1.75 inch (44.45 mm). The worm drive hose clamp provides even clamping force with a band that will not cut into the hose.

Expect good resistance to chemical attack, elevated temperature, and high pressure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Stainless Steel is specified for high mechanical strength and pressure capability, a hygienic, cleanable surface suited to sanitary process lines. It should not be specified for service in galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or chloride stress cracking in some grades.
